Take me out to the ballgame-Father's Day Idea

Father's Day is just around the corner. This week I'm going to focus on celebrating next Sunday with the men in our lives in mind! If your father or husband is a huge baseball fanatic, take inspiration from this idea board.
Baseball Party
The great thing about this idea board is that it will work for a
"baseball-themed" Father's Day as well as a 4th of July party,
an All-American themed party or a night out at a baseball game.

1. Using All-American colors (red, white and blue) create a
tablescape to start the party!
You can use multiple colored candles,
luminaries and paper lanterns, red and white plates,
and red-handled silverware.

2. Create baseball themed favors. On the top right, you'll see
inspiration for party favors from Martha Stewart. Her instructions
are here:

One of the best things about a birthday party is the goody bag.

Cellophane bags are inexpensive and make great party bags.

Tools and Materials
Cellophane bags
Gloveolium glove treatment
Baseball cards
Whistles and lanyards
Major league team logo pencils
Chocolate baseballs
Baseball gumballs
Tootsie rolls
B.B. Bats taffy lollipops
Wax soda bottles
Smarties
Red felt pen
White round labels

Baseball Party Favors How-To:
*Fill the party bags with a variety of toys, candy, and
other favorite items.
*Use a red felt pen to draw baseball stitching onto
white round labels
*Write or stamp each child's name on the label
*Fold over the top of the bag and affix the label
to secure

3.Make baseball themed cupcakes or cookies.
Or, if you're not Betty Crocker, search out
a local bakery and have them create them for you.

4. Using baseball gloves and mini bats,
create a festive baseball centerpiece with
the guest of honors name.
5. Don't forget the peanuts and Cracker Jacks!
The baseball lover in your life will be thrilled on Father's Day!
